Privacy policy

This policy covers the Gameza website and the orders you place through it. It applies whenever you sign in, use the calculator, or pay for a level up.

It does not cover Steam, Discord, or a crypto network you send a payment from. Those are run by other companies under their own policies.

Steam identity: when you sign in we store your Steam ID, persona name, and avatar, for account display and for matching a delivery to the right person.

Steam level and badges: the calculator reads your public Steam level and badge progress so it does not sell you sets your account cannot use.

Trade URL: if you save a Steam trade URL, we store the normalised URL and the Steam ID it belongs to, so our bot can send offers to the correct account.

Orders and payments: for crypto we store deposit addresses, transaction hashes, credited amounts, and order ledger rows. For TF2 keys we store the order, the quoted key count, and the Steam offer records needed to track delivery.

Support messages: anything you send us when you ask for help, such as an order reference and your description of the problem.

Technical data: basic information your browser sends, such as IP address and pages viewed, used to run the site and protect it from abuse.

We do not collect your Steam password, your payment card number, or your bank login.

We do not ask for permission to control your Steam account. You accept trade offers and craft badges yourself, inside Steam.

To quote a price, take your payment, and deliver the right sets to the account you signed in with.

To support you when something goes wrong, and to check payment, bot inventory, and Steam offer history when you raise an order.

To prevent fraud, wrong account delivery, and abuse of our bots, and to meet accounting and legal duties.

With Steam, when a trade offer is sent to your account. That is how delivery works.

With the public blockchain, for a crypto payment. A crypto transaction is public by design, and the amount and addresses involved can be seen by anyone.

With service providers who host and run the site for us, under contract and only for that purpose.

With authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Account and order records are kept while your account is open and for a period afterwards, so we can handle support, disputes, and accounting.

Payment and exchange records are kept for longer, because an old order's price has to stay explainable if it is ever questioned.

Access to customer data is limited, traffic to the site is encrypted in transit, and admin actions sit behind two-factor authentication.

No system is perfectly secure. Keep your trade URL private, and protect your Steam account with the mobile authenticator.

You can unlink your Steam account from your account page at any time.

You can ask support for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. We will do that except for records we are required to keep, such as completed order and payment history.

You can set your Steam profile to private, but then the calculator cannot read your level and cannot quote an order.

We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser's local storage to remember things like your cart and preferences.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Gameza links to Steam and to our Discord. Once you follow a link off Gameza, the other site's own privacy policy applies to what you do there.

Gameza is not for anyone under 18, or under the age of majority where they live. We do not knowingly collect information from a child.

We may update this policy as the service changes. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes.
